all sessions combine descriptive and tactile cueing strategies designed

How to Begin… Essential Apparatus - 5 Preliminary
Private Sessions
This series of 5 private sessions will cover the
classic approach to engaging the Pilates powerhouse, the principles
of Pilates and an introduction the Pilates apparatus. Each client
will learn select exercises from the Pilates repertoire they can incorporate
into our group class environment. The principles are taught with detail
and are simple, safe and easy to understand making your transition
into a group class environment smooth and effective.
Before taking semi-private or group class sessions
A Pilates Practice requires that ALL clients take these initial private
sessions before continuing. These one-on-one sessions are for your
benefit and will help us address your specific needs, emphasizing
your full personal potential.
Class Settings
Discover the possibilities with our breath-infused
Pilates workout. Rich in enthusiasm and goal oriented our class settings
implement the Pilates mat repertoire, and use the Reformer/Half Trapeze
Table and Ladder Barrel with various small props and apparatus to
bring your Pilates practice to life. Class settings are small group
sessions with four participants, emphasizing high quality instruction
while guiding clients through detailed and creative instruction in
an engaging and safe class. A great way to supplement your private
practice at an affordable group class rate!
Private Settings
Private settings utilize the full Pilates apparatus
system and introduce a whole new focus-value to the Pilates method
of body conditioning. Ideal for those who enjoy the benefits of one-on-one
instruction and prefer achieving their fitness goals in a private
setting. Master the repertoire in a variety of ways utilizing the
full Pilates apparatus system. An excellent choice to fine-tune your
Pilates practice and hone your body conditioning results.
Private settings are additionally advantageous
for clients recovering from physical injuries, have persistent ailments
such as knee, neck or back problems, and/or have severe physical limitations.
As with group class settings, private settings emphasize safe body
conditioning techniques that are respectful of your physical limitations.
